Coleta Velderman studeerde van 1963 tot 1968 aan de Academie St Joost te Breda
de opleiding was toen nog 5 jaar grafische vormgeving in de vrije kunst .
Werkte  20 jaar bij het creativiteitscentrum  stichting De Beeldenaar 
voor kinderen en volwassenen.
Exposeerde in zuid Nederland en België.heeft daar ook zomercursussen gegeven 
​schilderen en keramiek.

Exhibited in the south of the Netherlands and Belgium. has also given summer courses there
